East Fort Worth, Inc's (efwi) - EASTSIDE BLOSSOM project continues its efforts to beautify the roadways between the fort worth central business district and e. Loop 820. This photo shows one of 26 new Mexican plum trees planted by Andre and his helpers. These 26 trees are being planted in a spot that was previously an unsightly rusting chain link fence. THANK YOU BNSF Yesterday, East Fort Worth, Inc's. efforts to beautify East Fort Worth, Gateway Park and the roadways and entries into the park took a giant leap forward. The EASTSIDE BLOSSOMS committee members joined with BNSF, Texas Trees Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation to plant the newly rebuilt entry into Gateway Park from E. 1st Street. For over 40 years he owned “The Barber Shop” on Meadowbrook Drive where he served his loyal customers. Eddie’s, wife Stephanie Traxson, along with longtime customer Bill Mann, began collecting donations to honor Eddie’s service and contributions to the area.
